Please read the instructions below this size chart before ordering. We have indicated whether this size chart uses body or garment measurements in the notes below the size chart. Allow 1cm variance for all garment measurements (as an example a 56cm garment measurement has a variance of 55-57cm. Please factor that into deciding on the size to order.)
To select cm (cm) or inches (in") please see the top left corner of the size chart table.

Three easy steps to ordering the right size:
STEP 1:
You will need the following items:
• Measuring tape
• A flat surface (such as a table or counter)
• A notepad and pen
• An item of clothing from your wardrobe that fits comfortably and is similar to the one you wish to purchase (e.g. if you are looking at buying a collared shirt then use one of your own collared shirts to compare measurements to.)
TIP: If you do not own a similar fleece, then using a collared long sleeve shirt or jacket which is a comfortable fit will give you an idea of the size which will fit you the best.
STEP 2:
Referring to the images above, place your garment on a flat surface and record the following measurements:
A. 1/2 Bust/Chest: Measure across the front of the shirt from armpit to armpit.
B. Sleeve Overarm: Measure from the end of the cuff to the shoulder seam.
C. Centre Back Length: Measure from the nape of the neck on the back of the shirt to the bottom hem.
STEP 3:
Compare your measurements with our size chart and order the size closest to those measurements. Chest/bust is usually the most important measurement if you are in a hurry, but checking all three will make for the most comfortable fit.
TIP: If you do not have a measuring tape, use your credit card. The long side of a credit card measures 8.5cm and the short side is 5.4cm. Simply use the centimetre measurements on our chart and divide by 8.5cm to get an idea of how many credit card lengths equals the measurement you are recording.
Please note: If you are unsure about which size to order, please contact us before ordering and we will help you as best we can.

Introduction:
The SafariElite Fleece is made from the warmest, cosiest bonded fleece. This safari essential has undergone thorough sampling and testing to assure style, warmth, and comfort on safari and every day.
It is usually very difficult to look good in a fleece. Our original fleece has been completely re-designed and re-styled to earn the SafariElite name. We sourced the most comfortable double-bonded fleece fabric we could find and sampled and tested it until the final product met our high standards. The Rufiji™ fleece fabric has a tighter weave and is double-bonded for extra warmth and a smoother finish. The result is a fleece that meets your needs as a safari essential and which you will use day in and day out around the house, outdoors, on the farm, or in the countryside – whenever a chilly breeze blows or you wake up to a crisp, clear morning.
The waistband is elasticated and has an adjustable drawcord and toggle, allowing you to adjust your fleece to suit the conditions. The cuffs of this fleece are also elasticated to prevent draughts going up your sleeves. The full-length zip goes right up to the chin with a storm flap so the chill doesn’t creep in when your fleece is zipped up. With a Sand-coloured outer and a Sage-coloured inner and storm flap inner, the combination of these colours gives this fleece a stylish two-tone look.
All of these features combine to keep you insulated from the cold. The two zipped hand pockets are perfectly angled to slip your hands in to keep them toasty and keep your accessories close at hand.
You may be asking: “A fleece on safari?” Trust us, on the back of an open Land Rover at six in the morning or eight in the evening, it does get cold! Much of Africa is also over 1000 metres above sea level (the Masai Mara, for example, is at 1,500 metres - the height of many ski resorts in Europe) and this contributes to the morning and evening chill. Please do not be fooled by hot midday temperatures - the hotter it is at midday, the earlier you go on safari. The simple fact is you will be very cold without a safari fleece, as the quote below confirms.
You will need a fleece for the majority of safaris. Not convinced? Please read the quote below, or contact us:
"My husband did not procure one of your safari fleeces before we went and alluded to the fact whilst shivering on the back of a Land Rover on an early morning game drive that obviously you knew what you were talking about." R. Kneller, on safari in Botswana in October - one of the hottest times of the year in the Okavango Delta region!

I'm so glad I bought this fleece, as it has the warmth I wanted from my other not-warm fleece. You can feel it will keep you toasty even before doing up the zipper. I love the design of it, and the sage green lining. It's not as soft as I expected, but I'm guessing it will soften the more I wear it, like a pair of jeans -- and I'll be wearing this loads, for sure.

A really good quality fleece. Lovely colour, and very cosy. I am a high street 16, but bought a size 14 based on the measurements provided, which fits well. For me (bingo wings!) the sleeves could just be slightly wider at top of arm to allow for shirts underneath. Delighted I bought this.
