Important information about commission payments:

  • Please follow the steps below to claim your commission. If you have any queries, please contact us.
  • Once we have your bank details saved, we will then pay the amount due to you to date if the total is more than GBP50 (see below for exchange rates for non-GBP commissions). For future commissions earnings, we will automatically pay you - using the bank details you provide - every quarter should your total commission amount owed exceed GBP50 for GBP payments; and GBP100 or more for non-GBP payments. The quarterly periods are as follows: end of March, end of June, end of September, and end of December. Some quarters may be paid early or slightly late depending on seasonality (e.g. Christmas break would mean that December may be paid early or in January) and staff movements (e.g. if the accountant is away on holiday). An e-mail will be sent to you once payments have been made to let you know that payment has been made. We will also email you once a month to remind you to check your balance and to stay in touch with sales tips, new product launches, and more.
  • If you are UK or EU VAT registered, please do include this on the form - along with your VAT number - where it requests this information. For accounting purposes, as you are essentially invoicing us for the commission owed to you at the end of each year, we may need to ask you to send us one invoice to cover all the payments made to you in that year. However, we will do the sums so all you would need to do is generate the invoice and send it to us for our records. Thank you in advance for your understanding on this.
  • Should your bank details change, please note that you will need to inform us by re-sending the "Partners Programme Compensation Form" to service@thesafaristore.com.
  • Please note for payments:
  • a. We accept payments from clients when they shop with us online in three currencies: GBP, EUR, & USD. For partner commission payments, we pay out in GBP by bank transfer. Where you are owed commission in either EUR or USD, we use the HMRC exchanges rates for the month of payment of commission to determine the total owed to you in GBP.
    b. For any partners wishing to not be paid in GBP - for example, in ZAR - any bank fees and charges for non-GBP payments will come off the commission amount. As an example, should we owe GBP100 and Forex fees come to GBP20, then you will receive the equivalent of GBP80 in your currency of choice paid into your account. In addition, we are not liable should your bank charge any fees locally in your country to receive the funds. We are also limited to the currencies covered by our Forex company. This is why we prefer to pay you in GBP.
